What I liked

The internship was fully remote, but I truly appreciated that BNN did everything that they could to make it feel as close to "normal" as possible. They had virtual happy hours, team building activities, and more that helped us to connect with the staff and other interns. They also sent us all of the equipment that we needed directly to our homes, which made it very simple given the current times.

What I wish was different

I wish that I could have been able to meet with clients in person and travel to their different locations. This was out of BNN's control though, given the current pandemic.

Advice

I would apply early and attend as many of their events as possible! They offer networking/open house events which give you the opportunity to meet the team and see the offices. I found this very helpful throughout the on-boarding process because it helped me to be able to get a better idea of their culture and also meet team from other branches aside from the one that I interned with!
