I loved utilizing my customer service skills and finance skills to complete assignments and offer value to customers. I worked with some really nice people at my temporary position.
What I wish was different
I wish I had the opportunity to apply my accounting skills, but I am extremely grateful for the opportunity given the unfavorable economic circumstances this past summer.
Advice
Do not be afraid to reach out to your personal network to find job opportunities. Do not be afraid to reach out to peers and mentors for help in your job search.

What I liked
The team is eager to teach and happy to have you help. They work very collaboratively and were very inclusive of the intern from the beginning. They were also extremely flexible with my school schedule.
What I wish was different
Possibly would've liked more of a view of the broader scope of the work or witness interviewing.
Advice
Honestly, just be ready to work and willing to do any extra tasks that may be asked of you. It was a great experience.
