What I liked

BankSouth is a great company to work at especially if you want to have a nurturing place to learn new skills and knowledge. Being a company dedicated to exceptional service, BankSouth and all it's employees were very welcoming. What really stood out to me was how I was asked what my career goals and industry interests were, based off of that my mentor tailored my experience to most efficiently teach me skills needed for my goals.

One piece of advice I would share is to take advantage of this experience and soak in as much as one can.

What I liked

BankSouth is a wonderful place to start your banking career. I learned more in that summer than I have in years of schooling. Everyone at BankSouth is very knowledgeable in their field and are more than happy to share that knowledge with you.

What I wish was different

I wish that I could have spent more time interning there while I was in school, so that I could have gained more knowledge of the Credit department at BankSouth.

Advice

Do not be afraid to ask questions! Everyone at BankSouth is very helpful and want you to succeed, whether you stay at BankSouth or not.

What I liked

BankSouth does an incredible job of teaching all their interns all the necessary skills they need to flourish both inside and outside the workplace. I would recommend them to anyone looking to enter a career related to banking.
