What I liked
Gaining experience with nurses, one on one as a nursing student. I was able to see and learn so much more than a typical clinical experience can provide and it helped me prepare for the semesters ahead of me.
What I wish was different
I think they should establish a program that allows nursing students to be more hands-on and practice nursing skills under the guidance and supervision of a licensed nurse.
Advice
It is something I would recommend every nursing student to apply for, you won't get another opportunity like it again. It can also help you determine what area you think you would like to work in.
