What I liked
It allowed me to gain experience in the field I am hoping to work in, get requirements for graduate school applications, and also it was a paid experience.
What I wish was different
I wish that I would have more abilities to interact with doctors and physician assistants.
Advice
I would say to bring a positive attitude each day and step up when you have the opportunity. In this role it is easy to sit back and not pay attention to the patient's medical history but if you allow yourself to investigate the situation and communicate with the nurse you can easily become apart of creating a care plan for the patient.
