What I liked

Bar T 5 has one of the best social experiences I have ever had! you live, eat, work, and hang out together, so you really become friends with everyone and the owners are amazing and like family! Its definitely tough manual labor sometimes, but worth it for the great benefits, and amazing atmosphere!

What I wish was different

With all the work you usually are pretty tired during your free time, I just wish i would have been able to do more fun activities with friends.

Advice

Biggest tip i would give is be humble! The Bar T 5 is primarily a learning experience, and you really need to respect authority, listen to suggestions, and be open to self improvement. If you go with a humble attitude that you are there to learn and help others, then you will have a lot better experience!

What I liked

I enjoyed working here, I met great people and had a very fun summer. I felt I was a valuable part of a team and that my work mattered. I learned something new every day, and my employers were very patient with my learning curve. Food and Housing were provided.

What I wish was different

The hours were long throughout the day, and although it was necessary to accomplish everything through the day, it was stressful.

Be ready to work hard for a great reward!

The management was great. The provided housing and food while we working. They were very willing to help grow skill and teach if you were willing to learn. Taught the value of hard work.

What I liked

The Head of the Company treats you like family and teaches you everything from beginning to end. Everyone you work with works hard and does there part. If you hired as a certain position you get to still participate in all the postions all the time. Its so fun getting to spend the summer working with people who become your best friends and get to forget your actaully working.

What I wish was different

Nothing, we worked hard and played harder.

Advice

Dont be nervous to try driving teams. It actually pretty simple and makes your summer so much more fun. Learn everything you can! Because they will teach you everything you need.
