The casting directors have been proficient in work ethic while generous in person, and the experience has been educational to say the least. I learned many of the software used to organize and contact actors and their agencies, such as breakdown and airtable, also earning more communicative and networking skills.
What I wish was different
If I had the chance to work more hands on and up close with the offices and actors, I think I as well as others could have benefited. Especially the extra layers of cautions due to covid have made the job ten times more complicated and prone to last minute cancellations from actors, but overall I am learning how the industry is changing with the current world.
Advice
The opportunities to improve what you know and get in contact with real industry personnel is always a plus, but the work experience and its endeavors are equally as valuable.
