What I liked

Everyone in the workplace is very helpful and you feel like you're part of the team. You are given responsibilities and are given the space to learn and grow from your mistakes while also having access to guidance from anyone in the workplace. Want to know how to operate this machine? No worries, just ask someone nearby and they'll help you find the right person to help you understand how it works. Want to know what this process is about? Just ask someone working on it and they're more than happy to explain what they're doing. I was able to understand the correlations of various operations and connect what I'm working on to the bigger picture just by asking questions and listening. WC Barnes also has a great lunchroom and table tennis.

What I wish was different

I do wish I had a little more experience with various machines or that I could get certified by the company for said machines. I also wish I had worked for the company sooner as I had taken a few weeks off before starting. I would've been able to learn more. I also wish that the food selection in the food court was better.

Advice

Ask questions when you don't understand something. No one will put you down, nor will they be annoyed by your questions. Everyone starts from somewhere and this is the fastest way to know what to do and why you're doing it. Don't be afraid to say hello. You never know who you'll meet, and it'll make you that much more comfortable asking for help as you'll know more people.
