What I liked
ZF Group is a leading automotive supplier that is truly on the forefront of automotive technology. If you prove that you are capable and work to establish a professional network within the company, there are countless opportunities for getting involved in exciting projects that suit your interests. After 2 summers of working with the company, I was given assignments with sizable amounts of responsbility.
What I wish was different
I wish that I was given a formal opportunity to transfer to different departments each summer that I worked there.

FCA Developmental Engineer
May - August 2018 • Livonia, MI
What I liked
Everyone was very kind and supportive. The work environment was fantastic, and I was given many interesting projects to work on. Assembling and disassembling calipers was incredibly interesting and very enjoyable.
What I wish was different
I wish I had gotten to work in the labs more. I really enjoyed working with my hands, and lab work would have capitalized on this passion.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask for help: your employers don't expect you to know exactly how everything works your first time around! But also don't be afraid to take risks and try things out yourself, even if you feel under-qualified.
