What I liked

I like working with people and being able to do multiple parts of the job (unlike a factory job where it's one action over and over). With this job I am able to make sandwiches, prep food, work register, etc which I appreciate. I also like working there enough to get to know the regulars who stop in frequently. My co-workers are all very friendly and I get along with all of them. I love how we support each other, kinda like a family.

What I wish was different

I wish we had more staff, especially on the weekends. I can get very busy and hectic and would be easier to manage if we had more people.

Advice

Working at this job has taught me a lot in terms of important life skills, such as customer service, handling complaints with professionalism and grace, and many other important responsibilities (running the shop, training others, paperwork....)
