I really enjoyed the large process setting personally. It was really cool to have an office with a view that watched over the entire foundry floor. The Engineering team there is almost entirely MTU graduates so that also made me feel at home while at work.
What I wish was different
My only complaint was that I didn't get a company computer during my internship. This was only a slight issue however as I did have my own that was completely capable of doing what was required of me. The only reason it was a problem was because the foundry was a very dirty climate and I had to clean my laptop a few times.
Advice
I would definitely not feel intimidated by any of the workers. Sure they might be big muscular guys who seem really macho, but in reality they're just humans and are all very kind in nature.
