What I liked

Tough job, but the Cal Calling Center community was what made this job awesome. Met a lot of incredibly talented and driven people here who taught me so much within a short period of time. Managers are extremely professional and down to earth. 10/10

What I wish was different

Upgrade computers. :)

Advice

Always seek advice and feedback from TL's, Trainers, and Managers. These guys are top performers in fundraising and give excellent/creative feedback on overcoming rejections.

What I liked

I like the work environment, and appreciate the fact that our peers are training leaders. This really enhances the dialogue we share.

What I wish was different

The only caviate to the work is asking people for money when it is clear they are not in a position to give, but that is the nature of the job. Additionally, people often are more capable of giving then they lead on.

Advice

I would let people know that this is a really great experience in learning how to be persuasive and communicate with others. My advice being that, despite the variance in political views alumni may express with you, it is important to keep a respectful demeanor. If you are someone who cannot listen to others views without responding in aggressive defense of your own, this will be a challenging job at times.
