I enjoyed the flexibility in hours that the job offered me. Also, the work environment may seem intimidating but everyone was so nice and welcoming.
What I wish was different
During the summer, things can get a little slow and you may end up working on one single project which can be a little draining but you can always talk to your supervisor and they will try to change things up.
Advice
Don't be intimidated to work with faculty or administrative staff. Almost everyone one I have met has had well wishes for all the students that come around and are happy to see students getting experience. Put yourself out there, you will not regret it!
