At times being a camp counselor doesn’t even feel like work so it’s great to be doing something you love and getting paid for it

What I liked
I got to work with children that was of all ages and some were special needs. I had an amazing time teach them all how to take care of and ride horses, both english and western style. It was in a beautiful part of Topanga and there was a new adventure to be had every day. It definitely kept me on my toes and taught me a lot about being a teacher for elementary and middle school children.
What I wish was different
Nothing! I had an amazing time and they run the camp very well.
Advice
If you don't work well or can't tolerate children this is not the job for you. You could be uncharge of twenty children for the day and sometimes you may not have help. It is hot up there and the day is fairly long so you have to be tolerate and happy for the kids.
