I wish I had more time to rest between weeks to be more fully refreshed for the next one.

What I liked
I love everything about Camp Barakel. It is a great Christian camp that not only ministers to young kids but also to young adults as summer staff. You gain a new family and home when you spend a summer at Barakel.
What I wish was different
It could've been longer.
Advice
EVERYONE should counsel at a camp. Whether its a Christian camp or not working one-on-one with kids is the best experience you can have as a young adult, learning to think of others above yourself and getting a sneak peek of what parenting will be like for a short time is so exciting, fun and life-changing.

What I liked
Working with kids and other like minded people who were my age. We bonded closely as a family and gave all we had to love on the kids that were put in out care each week.
What I wish was different
Nothing, the experience was perfect. I just would've wanted it to last longer.
Advice
Go to camp physically and mentally prepared. You will find yoursel in the midst of many crazy circumstaces that you would have never imagined being in befre the summer starts.
