I really enjoyed Camp Sealth's emphasis on community building, both with campers and staff. I loved the location; waking up right next to the Puget Sound was wonderful.
What I wish was different
The workload is pretty heavy during the summer, which can get to be a lot by the time August rolls around.
Advice
You'll fit in the best at Camp Sealth if you are willing to try new things!

What I liked
I loved knowing that my work was doing good. Sometimes it could be tough, but you always recognized what the experience meant to the kids. The community was also so supportive, and it was amazing to work with so many different but ultimately caring people.
What I wish was different
I wish that I didn't have to return so soon.
Advice
Keep and open mind and be silly. You stop feeling embarrassed when bring a smile to a kid's face.
