I loved this job, it was super fun and a great experience. Getting to bond with the kids and counselors in a way that is completely different than normal life was amazing. Even the hard times weren’t the worst because of my coworkers.
What I wish was different
I wish that the bias for some workers over others wasn’t as bad and that there was more air conditioning but I wouldn’t change too much of the camp at all.
Advice
It was worth it. I was unsure and it seemed like such a far fetched thing to do, but I enjoyed it a lot and I would definitely do it again. It takes dedication, though.
