Getting to serve kids and spend time outdoors was probably my favorite part!
What I wish was different
I do wish that the way Camp K. operated was a little bit more organized before we began having campers come in. I feel like the leadership roles could have been better supported and more defined as well.
Advice
Be willing to be flexible! Outdoor camp is SO MUCH FUN, but can be pretty stressful, so just be aware of what’s going on, keep your head in a swivel, and communicate well with those you work with!
