Such a good working environment! So much support from higher ups and you really feel like you’re making a difference in the lives of children and helping them become better people.

I honestly love camp, I guess the days are long? But it’s worth it.

What I liked
I liked being able to work with animals and teach children about them. The days were very busy and a lot of work but it was incredibly fulfilling to see the improvements we made on the farm for the well being of the animals as well as seeing children become more comfortable around the animals and remember topics we taught them.

What I liked
I liked that I was involved with kids, I had a very supportive staff as well as advising system that helped me through hard days and inspired me to do better, I liked that I had a nice amount of money coming in bi-weekly, and I liked that this work lead to further my understanding of childhood as a childhood interested psychology major .
What I wish was different
I wish I had not worked the whole day every day all summer, I wish that I had approached each day as a new day.
Advice
give your all to your job, sometimes changing your perspective or giving your 100% can make a stressful job inspiring and full-filling. The hardest campers (or problems) will be the ones you remember and are so proud of.
