What I liked

I have worked at Camp Lu Lay Lea since 2016 and was a camper there from the years of 2012-2015. It has been one of the most exciting experiences. Since Covid, we have not been able to be open to campers but this summer, we had family open house events so parents and their kids could come see our camp and spend the day playing games, swimming, and do crafts. It was great to get back into my summer routine

What I wish was different

I wish I was able to go to Lu Lay Lea for longer. I was only able to go for 2 weeks but I typically work full summers which are 8 weeks long. It is exhausting but I would recommend coming to this camp to anyone.

Advice

Some advice is to get involved with this camp! We are always looking for caring and helpful staff members to be apart of our team. We are very welcoming and the children are fun to get to know and spend time with. The connections made here are the best I have ever made, and most of my friends today I met through this camp.
