What I liked
I loved the environment, which was so warm and welcoming. Every day was an adventure and was never the same as the day before. The job was challenging, but I grew so much as a person.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have stayed longer.
Advice
It's a big commitment, and it's not for everyone. However, it is possibly the most rewarding experience you can have if your willing to do it.

Working with kids, making lifelong friendships, being outdoors all summer, growing in my faith

I wish I had had a little more time off, and more time to prepare for college in between work and school.

What I liked
I loved working with kids and others my age. I loved sharing my faith and being in nature. I loved the singing and the games. I loved leading our little families each week. I loved being able to share my poetry with others and help the Junior Counselors in their faith and life struggles.
What I wish was different
That I could have been there the entire summer instead of being at Internship and missing training as well as the first week due to Internship for college.
Advice
If you think you need your life put together to work here, forget it. We are all broken and in need of God's help and mercy. It is a lot about learning a general understanding during training, and learning from and with your co workers! It is a blessing and so much fun!
