What I wish was different
The location. It was super far away, but DEFINITELY worth the drive.
Advice
Interaction with children who have disabilities that are out of their control is so astonishing and there’s nothing like it. Their view of the world is something that everyone should get in touch with.

What I liked
I enjoyed learning about Chron's and Colitis which all of the kids at the camp were diagnosed with. I also enjoyed getting to know the kids and helping them overcome some of their challenges.
What I wish was different
I would have liked a little more training on how to handle campers when there are challenges.
Advice
If you are interested in the medical field, especially working with kids, working at a camp like Camp Twin Lakes is an incredible experience.
