Cabin Counselor

June - August 2019 • Piermont, NH

What I liked

I loved the staff members that I met and worked with. I also loved being able to be a mentor to a group of teenage girls.

What I wish was different

The hours are long and tiring at times because you are working 24 hours a day.

Advice

If you love working with kids then this is the perfect summer job! If always being around children is not your favorite thing in the world, then maybe don't be a camp counselor. The CWW leadership team is friendly and supportive.

It's really hard work. 14 hour days with not a lot of personal time, but the kids are amazing and I will always remember the lessons I learned there and the impact I had.
