What I liked

- I met my girlfriend there - It was family ran - Time spent with the campers, creating memories that they certainly won't ever forget - making friends with the foreign staff and seeing their culture shock.

What I wish was different

Obviously, I wish I got paid more- I'd say the pay was fair before taxes. I wish also that my superiors saw the work I was putting in every day and that I got a counselor of the summer.

Advice

Go with the flow and talk to everyone, you'll learn and you'll get better at storytelling, especially in front of the campers. All you have to do is throw the campers a bone and try to get on their level. Ask them how they're doing and actually conversate.
