Work was efficient and organized. You had a specific job and were expected to do it well. Coworkers were fun to talk to and generally helpful.
What I wish was different
Everything was good!
Advice
I would recommend paying close attention to your job. If you mess up on a factory line, it messes things up for everyone down the line after you. Also, don't start any drama. Line work is busy but boring and everyone is interested in drama, but it can go sour so fast.

Production Worker
May - August 2019 • Richmond, UT
What I liked
The hours were Monday-Friday 7-3 which was very nice for a summer job, it left time to still have fun after work and enjoy my summer. The pay was also nice, I was able to save up money while living at home again for the summer.
What I wish was different
I wish that there was more communication between the shift leads and the workers. We would have random days where we would end very early but didn't know beforehand. I also wish there were more chairs on line 4, there was only two or three and the chairs helped so much with back/foot pain, it would be nice to have more of them at the easier spots.

What I wish was different

Quality Assurance Intern
May - August 2019 • Richmond, UT
What I liked
Great environment, very supportive staff and plenty to do, both on a daily/weekly basis and for projects to improve plant QA overall.
What I wish was different
There was a lot of turnover while I was there, and they were severely understaffed. I felt like I could have accomplished more in a more stable environment.
Advice
Don't expect a super technical experience, but do go for the manufacturing environment experience.
