The people, namely my supervisor and fellow intern, and the atmosphere during the races. I also enjoyed the hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment; I truly felt like I improved my skills afterward.
What I wish was different
I wish there had been more focus on web design. Toward the end, I did design graphics and assist with site maintenance, though I wish we could've done more.

What I liked
During my time as an intern, I earned a lot of experience in many different areas that went beyond just marketing. Customer service was a large part of my position.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have received more experience related to other areas of marketing beyond just promotions and things like free t-shirt shootings.
Advice
An internship is a great opportunity to get yourself into a company. Treat an internship like a job and you may have the opportunity to earn a job.
