I like the opportunities the CSC offers pre-health students. They help open doors for students through teaching classes, learning from others’ work in the center and networking between professors, students, or other staff in the building.
What I wish was different
I wish there were more tasks to do as an assistant intern other than opening mail.
Advice
If you’re a pre-health student like I am, determine what you’re looking for out of your internship before apply to them. If you’re looking for more development in lab work or field work or maybe if you’re looking for more management opportunities regarding a lab, the CSC offers great opportunities to learn and network for all!
