I liked that I had flexible hours and consistent communication. I felt that the organization entrusted me with a lot of independence in networking with foundations and researching and writing grants, which was valuable professional experience.
What I wish was different
I wish the organization laid out at the beginning what my roles and responsibilities would be throughout the 6 weeks, and I would've been trained more comprehensively. I also wish I got to connect with more people in the organization.
