What I liked
I was part of the REU program and I appreciated the freedom to design my own study while having the expertise and guidance of my mentor scientist as well as the rest of the Cary community. It's small and you get to meet a lot of the people that work there!
What I wish was different
They provide free housing which is AMAZING but you need to keep in mind that it is free and not set your standards too high
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask for help when you get stuck! Almost everyone there is more than willing to help you.
