I loved my manager and the customer base that I got to know over my time there.
What I wish was different
The company unfortunately closed in September. Going through the process of liquidation was definitely not my favorite thing.
Advice
Be kind to your customers. Not saying that the "customer is always right" but try to understand where they're coming from and help them from there.

I would have preferred to have been given more hours but it was a smaller store so it was very limited.
Advice
Working here was a great job for a student who does not have a lot of availability, but is free on weekends and needs a job to help pay for small expenses. It taught me a lot of customer service skills for future jobs.

The community in this store, as well as our customers, are so welcoming and friendly. I actually enjoy going to work and getting to spend time with the ladies that come in.

Advice
Never be afraid to ask questions. Retail can sometimes be a little stale, so play with your team. Give them and yourself challenges and games to make the day fun. Goals help everyone get through.
