I love Chatham Day Camp. It was really great experience in the education field.
What I wish was different
Honestly, nothing. I love the way camp is set up. My supervisors were incredible and I can't wait to work there next summer!
Advice
If you don't like children, it's not the job for you. If you are an education major, this is a great way to experience a classroom and a camp setting.

Mechanical Engineering Intern
September 2019 • Gibsonia, PA
What I liked
The internship provides access to a large database of the campus's equipment activity logs, usage, and design, which has been an interesting learning experience.
What I wish was different
A lot of the work was self-guided, and I prefer more oversight. I also wish it had been a paid internship, as I feel that the inability to perform work that should be paid has held back my experience.
Advice
If you are going to do an more self-guided internship, take time out in the first couple of weeks to set up a timetable for getting your time in. Avoid the self-inflicted crunch.
