I was able to connect with the child, their family, and their medical team in order to best serve the child's experience with me. I enjoyed that the time spent with the child felt more like a social interaction rather than an educational experience for the child. I was able to grow a deeper connection with the child as I was given knowledge about the diagnosis that the child had. ”
