I loved the big group of interns that I got to work with, and I enjoyed the behind-the-scenes work of kids ministry. It was also a joy to build relationships with staff members at the church.
What I wish was different
I wish I had had my own transportation.
Advice
Go into it with an open mind. If you have expectations, not just for this position but any position, you will likely be disappointed. If you have an open mind you will learn so many good things.
