Feed Mill Operations Internship

What I liked
I liked the flexibility of the internship structure and that they can tailor it towards what you want to do.

Engagement with more of the departments that worked alongside the feed mill department.
Advice
Ask questions and put yourself out there. I had a great time interning in the middle of COVID-19 and I learned I have a passion for a future career in Feed Milling!

What I liked
I enjoyed how welcoming the other employees were and how much interest the company took in making sure their interns were thriving in their positions.
What I wish was different
As a result of COVID-19, some of the usual supplemental internship opportunities at the internship were eliminated, through no fault of the company.
Advice
You get out of this experience what you put in. If you are willing to work hard, you will learn a lot and enjoy yourself.

I love the people and the show their values every single day and they are very trusting.

Longer time spent in the sow farm

Take every day as a grain of salt. There is so much you learn so make sure you are taking notes and ask questions if you do not know, they are very willing to stop and take a step back and reword what they said!
