Arcadia is the economic heart of Trempealeau County, working with a mayor and six member City Council, a $2.9 million dollar general fund budget, Electric and Water/Wastewater Utilities, and 30 full-time employees.
Arcadia also boasts seven international companies and many more large and small businesses. Employment is everywhere with above minimum wage job opportunities for all skills and most trades. We are centrally located with two interstate highways less than an hour away, and transportation of goods is possible via railway or by barges on the mighty Mississippi River, only a half an hour away. Arcadia also has the only inter-modal system between Milwaukee and the Twin Cities.
Our community also has access to world class healthcare with Mayo Clinic Health Systems - Arcadia Clinic, Prevea Health, as well as Gundersen Lutheran's Ashley Wellness Center.
Education is the foundation to all our futures and Arcadia is committed and proud of our public and private school systems. Finally, our utilities and infrastructure are state of the art and provide adequate service for all that we have with room for more growth.
Nestled in the hills of Western Wisconsin, Arcadia is like no other place on Earth. Come visit our community and leave with a little Arcadia in your heart.
