What I liked
I worked with an amazing team! They were so patient and willing to teach me all that I needed to know to be safe, smart, and possibly continue my career as an arborist. It was a physically demanding job with amazing rewards and who doesn't like working with chainsaws!
What I wish was different
I wish I had taken more precaution with my hearing. Wood chippers are very loud. But other than that this was an amazing experience.
Advice
I would advise anyone who is interested in Urban planning, urban tree care, tree care in general, or has an interest in horticulture to call up the city's Trees Department! You will not regret it!

I'd say its a great paying summer job. But not to risk your safety or your well-being doing it. Wear sunscreen!
