I loved helping people and learning how to work selflessly. I also enjoyed learning more about being part of a team. I think my favorite part was working with and helping the children in the summer program at the Mission.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had asserted myself more and not been such a follower but more of a leader.
Advice
I would say that anyone wanting to go do the internship should do their best to immerse themselves in the experience.
