Some says that freshman cannot get an internship offer during the summer time. But, if you do not try, you will never get one, even after you graduate.

What I liked

I loved the attitude and atmosphere of the company! My supervisor was amazing and understanding that I was doing an internship while abroad so she was accommodating to my working hours so I could explore Barcelona that city. Clarivate has great internal moral and systems.

What I wish was different

I personally didn't enjoy the internship work that I was doing, as much as I enjoyed the company itself. I felt as I was doing busy work that wasn't actually contributing to the company itself. If I could do something different, I would have asked for a different job.

Advice

I got my internship through CisAbroad and I had the opportunity to turn it down and ask for a new one. My advice would be to turn down an internship that you are given if you feel like its the right choice. Also in the internship, my advice would be to ask for more work if you want a greater responsibility.
