I liked the atmosphere and reality of it. My internship helped me prepare for professional settings in the future. The professionalism required, working at her events, and preparing for events at her office were all great experiences that I enjoyed.
I also loved the company owner. Rena is great to work with and truly cares about developing interns professionally.
What I wish was different
Rena, the company owner, is a huge stickler for organization and preparedness. Some of the duties seemed far too trivial. But I realize the importance of it in a delicate industry like event planning.
Advice
Treat this as if it were a job. Professionalism is valued and rewarded.
