Coinmo, Inc.

Sales/Account executive

May - July 2018 • Miami, FL

What I liked

This was the best experience of my life. I challenged myself in a manner I have never done before. I was selling a mobile app door to door, b2b, in Miami, Florida. This was the hardest most life-learning experience I have ever had and I admire Coinmo and its personnel, for pushing me out of my comfort zone and boundaries. Right now, I feel that I can accomplish anything I set my mind to. I learned to never give up, make mistakes, learn from my mistakes and moving on. It was a job on straight commission and this made me hustle and hustle. This is not a typical 9-5 job, you need to sweat, be patient, listen to the advice of your manager and the interns around you, be organized, be self-driven, self-motivated, be happy, energetic and always have fun!

What I wish was different

I wish the training was better when we went to Atlanta for our first weekend. More hands-on training. More days. Possibly more 1 on 1 training. Some stable salary every day so that we pay for our daily personal expenses (gas, food), doesn't have to be a big amount, $20-25 per day.

Advice

If you are a person that loves people, loves to be active all the time, hates the repetitive routine, loves to explore the world and your personal & professional capabilities, then this is going to be the hardest and most amazing experience of your life. You will bleed but you will thrive. You will feel like a superhero at the end of this adventure. Are you ready to take your life to the next level?

Account Executive Intern (Sales)

May - September 2019 • Iowa City, IA

What I liked

It was competitive and was a really good experience. I was flown out to Atlanta, GA for a three day business conference where I was taught about sales. I learned a lot about adversity and handling objections. The interns are ranked by sales generated which is a very nice thing to be able to talk about in interviews. The internship is 100% commission so your pay is based off of your success and hard work.

What I wish was different

I wish management would have been able to visit our market but, there were a lot of campuses to cover so I understand management not being able to come to campus.

Advice

Consistently give your best effort and stay in contact with management.

Account Executive (PR and Marketing)

May - September 2019 • Kalamazoo, MI

What I liked

the flexibility with my schedule. Also a lot of the work in the beginning was sales, so meeting business owners around Kalamazoo area was an amazing experience. It led me to a huge expansion of my network on the westside of Michigan.

What I wish was different

The pay was strictly commission based. That being said if you didn't work your hardest you were making nothing. This was fair for an internship but also going above and beyond for some could still leave you empty handed.

Advice

Try your hardest to break out of your shell. The more you can connect with people through communication and knowledge the more they will want to do business with you. Being open and friendly with business owners has led me to future job offers in the area and in Chicago area.

Account Executive Intern

May - August 2019 • Iowa City, IA

What I liked

This internship helps individuals grow professionally and personally. It's challenging and gives you real life experience! I learned so much during this internship and had hands-on managers and leaders who were awesome. Highly recommend!!!

What I wish was different

I wish that the in-person training was a little longer so we could have gotten more time to prepare and train before hitting the field!

Advice

It's challenging but if you try your best and give it your all it will be highly rewarding no matter what.
