I loved connecting with the kids I worked with. I was also employed by doctors, and I would like to go into the medical field, so it was a good perspective of what my future might look like.
What I wish was different
The hours were very long, and caring for three little people can be exhausting.
Advice
Make sure you know what you’re getting into- will the job require that you have a car? Will you be given money for gas and activities? What does time off look like? It’s better to know more at the beginning than be given info halfway through the summer.
