I liked assisting military veterans with getting needed social services, such as helping them obtain new housing, getting military discharge upgrades, and new employment.

What I liked
I had the opportunity to intern with the Community Veteran Justice Project (CVJP) and it was an incredibly rewarding experience. As an intern, I was able to work closely with a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to helping veterans navigate the legal system. What I appreciated most about my experience with the CVJP was the sense of purpose and fulfillment I felt. The work we did was not just about providing legal services, but also about supporting veterans and their families through difficult times. CVJP are supportive, knowledgeable, and passionate about their work. The experience was not only educational and fulfilling but also an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of veterans and their families.
