Concussion Alliance is a science-based patient advocacy organization with a mission to meet the diverse needs of concussion patients. We address the barriers concussion patients face when they seek information about persistent symptoms and treatments. This population often relies on healthcare providers with little experience in managing the aftermath of their injury and has scant access to evidence-based rehabilitative care.
To remedy these problems, Concussion Alliance provides a robust website with accessible information and tools, an undergraduate internship program that trains future advocates and healthcare and public health professionals, the biweekly Concussion Update newsletter, and a blog that covers the latest news and research as well as information for patients and family members regarding their treatment options. In three years, we have become a trusted one-stop resource of reliable state-of-the-art concussion care and information.
Concussion Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, part of the CascadiaNow! nonprofit family. EIN #47-1954164.
