What I liked
I got to experience a wide variety of areas of the perioperative process gaining hands on experience as a nurse.
What I wish was different
There was some staffing issues on the unit that may have raised the stress and disorganization and affected my experience.
Advice
You get out of each experience what you put in. Take advantage or every opportunity and network where you can, you never know where one conversation can place you.
