Cornerstone Animal Clinic is a full-service mix animal practice serving the small, rural community of Brandenburg, Kentucky and the surrounding communities. Located approximately 40 minutes from the heart of Louisville, Kentucky Cornerstone Animal Clinic is proud of our reputation for providing “big city medicine in a small-town atmosphere”.

The mission of Cornerstone Animal Clinic is “partnering with pet owners and veterinary specialist to achieve high quality animal care”. Our location near Louisville, Kentucky allows us to work with specialty and emergency veterinary facilities on a regular basis.

At this time, Cornerstone Animal Clinic is seeking one (and possibly two) a full-time DVM associate who is/are a skilled communicator, experienced diagnostician, competent and versed surgeon (general & orthopedic), who possess mature leadership skills and aspires to be a member of a dynamic, deeply caring team of veterinary professionals as an associate.
In many ways Cornerstone Animal Clinic is like every other veterinary practice. We work long hours. Our work is physically and emotionally demanding. We all love helping animals. We advocate for our patients and we find ingenious solutions despite the financial limitations of the humans who care for our patients.

That said, what sets Cornerstone Animal Clinic apart is not our work but rather the values and philosophies that govern how we go about accomplishing the work of a busy, growing, 2 DVM veterinary practice on a daily basis. It goes without saying that our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys their work as a veterinarian in this industry but, more than that, is someone who’s values and ideals resonate with those of our practice, its ownership, and its management.

Our Motto of “You’ll Love the Way We Care” is, in essence, the guiding principle that governs all of our interactions and are in accordance with the Christian principles we subscribe to. As the third and final practice owned and operated the owning DVM and his family; therefore, Cornerstone Animal Clinic boasts experience. Our DVM’s are seasoned and experienced practitioners. Our veterinary team is comprised of experienced, licensed technicians, receptionist and assistance. Our management team is experienced, thoughtful, diligent and creative.
In the 34 years of serving this community our practices have developed a positive reputation and dedicated following. We have worked, and continue to work, with leading management professionals and consulting firms with in the veterinary industry which has lead Cornerstone Animal Clinic to subscribe to a very specific philosophies of management in which embrace a detailed method of checks/balances and individual accountability. These philosophies celebrate the work of the veterinary team and recognize that every member of the team is important and have value. Cornerstone Animal Clinic stays abreast of trends within the veterinary industry, is thoughtful regarding our personal and professional contributions, and recognizes that our individual activity impacts the profession as a whole. Simply stated, Cornerstone Animal Clinic knows who we are and we are looking for a candidate who aspires to participate in a rewarding associate-ship.

Our ideal candidate will be someone who believes in the value of high quality veterinary medical care and promotes robust, well-rounded preventative, diagnostic care and treatment services. Our ideal candidate is a practitioner who is comfortable with a ProSal compensation structure with a $72,000 base salary. The ProSal compensation method has been a reliable compensation plat-form in our practice and has proven to be mutually beneficial for both the associate and the organization.
The average work week would be four (4) work days per week to include working 32 Saturdays per year. During the working schedule only 1 (one) DVM covers at any given time.
