Court Appointed Special Advocates

About Court Appointed Special Advocates

CASAs (Court Appointed Special Advocates) are volunteers and ordinary citizens, like you, doing extraordinary work. CASA advocates establish stable relationships with foster children, getting to know their unique history and making informed recommendations to the courts. When a child has an advocate, he/she is more likely to get needed services — and a permanent, stable home. Are you eager to make a difference in a child’s life? Become a volunteer.

Reviews

Legal Intern

“As a pre-law student, I enjoyed learning about the different types of filings, paperwork and cases in Family Law, and creating case profiles gave me hands-on experience with each type.”

Practicum

May 2019 - August 2019 Athens, OH
“Loved the people I worked with and the atmosphere of the office. I also loved being able to help advocate for children who needed it. Lastly, all of the little activities we did outside of the office including, tabling at the farmers market and training sessions once a month. ”
