What I liked

CPA Department is a great place to apply what you learned in your accounting courses. It's great because you get hands-on experience from day one and since it has an open door policy the idea that there is no such thing as a bad question is continuously reinforced. Although the company is small, the professional and personal growth you get is exceptional.

Get ready to learn hands-on experience regarding all aspect of accounting.

What I liked

The people are the best part of this company. They are always willing to help and make this intense job a lot more doable. As an employee, seeing managers and bosses always up on their feet, working so hard day and night, it's easy for me to respect them, not just as my bosses but also as individuals.

What I wish was different

I wish the company hour was from 9-5, not 8-5.

Advice

Be prepared to do whatever that is assigned to you but don't be afraid, because your team is ready to help you along the way.
