What I liked

I had a really helpful boss and all of my coworkers were very kind. I didn't have problems with anyone.

What I wish was different

I wish that the store management had be more caring with employee experience. I had one of my supervisor's tell me that he has directly said that he doesn't care about employee experience. That became evident to me as with the pandemic and everything, people are required to wear masks, but the management would not enforce it at all, putting employees at risk.

Advice

Take time to establish relationships with your coworkers. These relationships I had with my coworkers are some of the best that I have had.

What I liked

The customers were really generous and I got to meet a lot of interesting people. This job has also improved my social skills.

What I wish was different

Sometimes it can get frustrating when coworkers do not always do their part.

Advice

Always be polite to the cooks. They work very hard and are the ones responsible for making the food one serves.

What I liked

Team/family-first mentality. Co-workers always worked in an effort to minimize complications for others and maximize guest experience, something that can not be said for all businesses.

What I wish was different

In honesty, nothing. It helps that the managers at my location are great at what they do and make it so that my job is one that can easily be mastered.

Advice

Work for a place or take part in an experience that has people around you with the same goal to maximize efficiency without sacrificing relationships with the people you work around and for.
