I was able to grow professionally and work in an industry other than tech.
What I wish was different
There was not much diversity there. Few women were working in the IT department. The work was also mundane.
Advice
Generally, people are all nice and willing to help, but the work is more focused on IT, not software engineering which was what I was pursuing. However, I think I was able to grow a lot professionally that no other industries could provide.
