I liked how I was provided with training using the registered behavioral training workbook. I liked how I got to apply those materials along with all the things I had learned at CSUN so far when I was working with a child with Down Syndrome. I really liked how I build rapport with the client and got to learn a lot from her as she did with me. I also liked how detail oriented I had to be when it comes to recording data of the child's progress.
What I wish was different
I wish I got more hours that fit my schedule, and that my case supervisor collaborated and communicated more efficiently with us.
Advice
Really learn and understand the information that are given to you, and utilize that when you are working on field with an actual child.
